Our client is an industry leading, fast growing, international manufacturing and service company seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accounting Manager to lead key accounting operations and support the continued growth of their organization. This role will oversee core accounting functions, manage and develop staff, and partner closely with senior leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical accounting knowledge, process improvement experience, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations and month-end close activities
- Manage and mentor accounting staff, providing leadership and professional development
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger activity
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership and operational teams
- Assist with special projects and strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior management or team leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with large ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA preferred but not required
- Public accounting experience is a plus
- Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, manufacturing, or other complex organizations welcomed

Salary : $150,000 - $160,000
