Primary Responsibilities:

Corporate & Team Leadership

  • Maintain and develop relationships to reinforce a commitment to world class customer service across the board including co-workers, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and the design community.
  • Aid in locating potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Promote the brand in the marketplace through attendance at industry organizations and events.
  • Actively participate in all company-wide training and development initiatives.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and professionalism to be emulated by other staff. Mentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers. Establish annual performance goals for assigned staff and conduct timely and meaningful verbal and written performance evaluations.
  • Be a resource for Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers when questions or problems arise and help find solutions to ensure successful completion of work.


Project Leadership

  • Successfully manage the firm’s largest and most complicated projects.
  • Set and drive project execution strategy from preconstruction through delivery.
  • Oversee development and final review of scope, procurement strategy, buy-out and schedule. Ensure scope alignment and risk mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Collaborate with Estimating and Purchasing during project set up to ensure profitability, client satisfaction and the best subcontractors for the job.
  • Own project financial performance, including budget oversight, forecasting, and issue identification.
  • Meet regularly with client representatives to determine client requirements and promote favorable client relations
  • Ensure overall project delivery, schedule adherence, and team accountability across assigned projects.
  • Identify and implement value-added services to the client.
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of project strategy and commitments including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, inspections.
  • Demonstrate and maintain effective and open dialogue with the project team regarding changes in work, job conditions, subcontractor relations and any deviation in the direction of the project.
  • Lead execution of select projects while maintaining oversight across multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Operate effectively across multiple fast-paced interior projects with short durations and constant client interaction.
  • Maintain regular involvement in project details to ensure alignment with client expectations and team execution work.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, managing communication, problem-solving, and overall satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated, independent thinker that can effectively participate in a team-oriented work environment.
  • Clear and effective communication and negotiating skills.
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • 10 years of experience in real estate development.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced Degree a plus.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based environment.


Salary:

  • Base Salary: $250,000
  • Eligible for bonus

Compensation will be based on experience and include a bonus and benefits.
