Keenan Marina is seeking a knowledgeable, hands‑on Controller to lead the financial operations of a growing, multi‑location Marina. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic financial oversight and day‑to‑day accounting leadership in a dynamic, seasonal business environment.

What You’ll Do
- Manage accounting operations across multiple locations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Maintain an accurate general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial accuracy
- Ensure proper revenue recording across various operating lines
- Supervise an Office Manager responsible for payroll and administrative functions
- Review payroll for compliance with federal and Michigan regulations
- Assist leadership with annual budgeting and forecasting
- Monitor financial performance by location and department
- Oversee sales tax reporting and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with external accountants for year‑end reporting and tax preparation
- Strengthen internal controls and streamline financial processes
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience
- Full‑cycle accounting experience in a small or mid‑sized business
- Experience supervising accounting or administrative staff preferred
- Multi‑location or multi‑entity accounting experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online (QBO), Sage, or similar
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis capability
- High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
