Job Duties:
We are seeking an audit intern that will be responsible for working on audits, reviews and other attest engagements. This position is given basic accounting and auditing duties for diversified assignments under the supervision of other professionals. You will work closely with clients and their personnel in performing inquiries regarding internal control and financial related questions. You will also utilize specialized software programs.
This is an in-person internship and will require a minimum availability of 25 hours per week.

Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in an accounting curriculum at the junior, senior or higher level
- Plan to pursue CPA (150-hour requirement)
- Beginning understanding of audit principles, practices and regulations
- Basic understanding of FASB standards, GAAP and GAAS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
- Microsoft Office proficiency including Excel and Word
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to work in a team focused environment
- Strong organization and detail orientation skills
- Excellent time management skills
