What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spring Tax Intern position at KEB?
Job Duties:
As an intern with the Tax Services Department, you will be responsible for the preparation of trust and individual income tax returns, as well as analyzing tax notices and drafting responses, assisting in tax planning, the preparation of tax projections and performing tax research. You will learn our tax project tracking software. You may also provide various support to facilitate the tax return preparation process.
Interns need to be available to work
20 or more hours a week
.
The internship is expected to run from approximately
February 2 through April 15
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in an accounting curriculum at the junior or higher level
- Plan to pursue CPA
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Strong planning and organization skills
- Detail-oriented
- Basic understanding of tax services
