Bindery Cutting Operator – Cutting Dept 2nd Shift Bindery Cutting Operator Reports to: Cutting Department Manager FLSA Status: Hourly Position Summary We are seeking skilled Bindery Cutting Operators to join our Cutting Department. This role is responsible for operating guillotine, sheeting, and die-cutting equipment to accurately and efficiently cut printed paper and plastic materials while maintaining tight quality tolerances. We are currently hiring 1st and 2nd Shift Bindery Cutting Operators. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Operate guillotine cutters, sheeters, and die-cutting equipment • Set up jobs to meet specifications, tolerances, and production standards • Perform routine operator-level equipment maintenance as required • Load and unload various media and finished materials (up to 50 lbs.) • Complete required documentation related to time, materials, and quality control • Move completed jobs to the next stage of production • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Basic Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills) • Prior experience operating guillotine and/or die-cutting equipment • High school diploma or GED required • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently • Strong math skills, including the ability to work with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals • Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed (Weekday & Weekend) What Will Put You Ahead • Strong mechanical aptitude • Previous printing or bindery/finishing experience • I-cutting or CNC cutting experience • Forklift certification or experience • Basic computer skills and comfort working with production systems
