What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and support Siemens-based control systems (TIA Portal / STEP 7)
• Create and maintain PLC, HMI, and motion control software
• Work on multi-axis systems including gantry and robotic equipment
• Support machine startup, commissioning, and customer acceptance
• Collaborate with electrical engineering on hardware selection and layout (drives, I/O, amplifiers)
• Troubleshoot real-world machine issues (electrical software)
• Contribute across the full lifecycle — from design through production release

What They’re Looking For (Must-Haves)

• Experience with Siemens PLC programming (TIA Portal and/or STEP 7)
• Background working with CNC machines, machine tools, or motion-based systems
• Experience with servo systems, multi-axis motion, or robotics
• Ability to troubleshoot controls electrical systems
• Experience working on equipment or machines (not just plant systems)
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

Nice to Have

• Experience with SINUMERIK 840D
• Programming experience in C, C#, or similar
• Experience in real-time control systems (RTOS)
• Strong HMI development experience
• Background working with custom automation or OEM equipment
