HR Associate (Part-Time – Temporary)
Aerospace Manufacturing
A growing aerospace manufacturing company is seeking a Part-Time HR Associate to support its Human Manufacturing team. This role is starting as a temporary assignment with the potential for longer-term opportunities for the right individual.
The ideal candidate has prior HR experience within a manufacturing environment, is highly organized, professional, and enjoys partnering with employees and production leadership in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation
- Maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation
- Assist with employee training and onboarding programs
- Prepare employee disciplinary documentation and write-ups
- Coordinate Workers' Compensation claims and related paperwork
- Support HR compliance and recordkeeping
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures
- Partner with supervisors on day-to-day employee relations matters
- Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department
Qualifications
- 2 years of Human Resources experience
- Manufacturing experience is required
- Experience with onboarding, employee relations, disciplinary documentation, and Workers' Compensation
- Experience supporting hourly manufacturing employees, production supervisors, and shop floor operations is highly preferred
- Knowledge of California employment practices preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus

- Part-time
- Approximately 20–30 hours per week
