Job Overview:
The Human Resources Coordinator is a regular, full-time, non-exempt position reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources. The Human Resources Coordinator supports all aspects of HR operations across multiple organizations across five states. This role partners with company owners, senior leaders, and employees to enhance HR effectiveness, ensure compliance, and contribute to a positive and productive workplace. The position provides guidance, support, and execution across staffing, employee relations, training, benefits administration, compensation, and organizational initiatives.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Partner with all levels of organizational leadership on people-related matters.
- Support HR needs across multiple companies by building strong relationships with owners and key leaders.
- Serve as a reliable resource for employees needing assistance, guidance, or clarification on HR-related concerns.
- Identify, recommend, and implement efficiencies within the Human Resources function.
- Assist with staffing needs, including collaborating with business leaders and recruiting to fill vacancies in a timely manner.
- Support the development, implementation, and consistent application of HR programs, policies, practices, and procedures.
- Assist in administering employee health and welfare benefit programs.
- Support the design, development, and execution of training programs and organizational development initiatives.
- Administer the performance evaluation process, wage programs, and salary administration.
- Communicate organizational initiatives, updates, and changes to employees and leadership at all levels.
- Manage workers’ compensation claims and related processes to ensure safety excellence and minimize organizational exposure.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a progressively responsible HR role, with demonstrated success partnering with executives and individual contributors.
- Proven track record as a trusted partner to senior leadership.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field.
- A combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Experience in performance management, organizational design, recruitment, immigration, employee relations/coaching, compensation, benefits, and employee communications.
- Ability to creatively design and adapt HR solutions that meet organizational needs with minimal bureaucracy.
- Extensive working knowledge of federal and multi-state labor and employment laws.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Paycom, and Assure Hire.
- Ability to prioritize workload, manage projects independently, multitask, and meet shifting deadlines.
- Excellent project management and change-management skills.
- Strong service orientation with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proactive problem solver who thrives in collaborative and team-oriented environments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, it is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is also required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
The working conditions are primarily within an office healthcare setting, requiring flexibility for occasional evening or weekend coverage. However, the position must be available for on-call emergencies and facility issues and maintain clear communication and professional presence in a high-intensity, client-facing environment.
