Locations (fixed):
- Overland Park, KS – $43/hr (W2 pay rate)
- Frisco, TX – $47/hr (W2 pay rate)
Note: Local candidates preferred. Non-local candidates must confirm willingness to relocate. Work model is 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.
Position Overview
Are you passionate about voice core networks and eager to work at the cutting edge of telecom technology? We’re seeking a talented Senior Network Engineer to join our Advanced Technical Assistance Center (ATAC) team focused on Voice Core technologies. In this critical role, you’ll deliver advanced operational support, automation, cyber-security remediation, and collaborate with vendors and design teams in a high-impact telecom environment.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Support and troubleshoot Mavenir IMS access/core products (TAS/CSCF, BGCF, MRF, SBC) and/or Ericsson IMS access products (Cloud Native SBG/BGF).
✅ Manage and support T-Mobile implemented systems, including:
- ServiceNow
- OneConsole
- OneData
- CyberArk
- NetScout
- ✅ Create Ansible playbooks to automate routine operational tasks.
- ✅ Provide operational support for RedHat OpenShift PaaS environments.
- ✅ Support and maintain Dell Hardware/IDRAC.
- ✅ Identify telecom cyber-security issues and remediate vulnerabilities through configuration and software changes.
- ✅ Review and update CMDB data regularly.
- ✅ Troubleshoot and resolve tickets, issues, and system updates.
- ✅ Attend meetings with vendors and internal design teams to align on solutions and improvements.
Technical Skillset
- Scripting skills in Python, Ansible, Bash
- Unix/Linux CLI proficiency
- Basic knowledge of Load Balancers
- Basic understanding of Routers
- Basic database knowledge
Preferred Background
- 3 years of operational support experience in a technical environment, ideally in telecom networks or voice core systems
- Previous experience supporting carrier-grade voice core networks is highly desirable

- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Self-starter with initiative and strong problem-solving skills
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work across cross-functional teams
- Enthusiastic, resourceful, and able to think creatively to resolve complex challenges
