We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support a fast-growing IT Services and Digital Transformation organization with a global delivery model. This role partners closely with business leaders both onsite and offshore and coordinates extensively with offshore HR teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and scalability of people practices across regions.
π About the Role
The HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to leaders across Technology, Delivery, Sales, and Corporate functions. This role requires prior experience in an IT Services environment, strong knowledge of consulting workforce models, and hands-on coordination with offshore HR teams supporting global delivery and shared services.
In addition to core HRBP responsibilities, this role will play a key part in policy formulation, benefits administration, HR initiatives, employee engagement, and representing the organization at forums and events.
π Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
β’ Serve as a strategic HR advisor to senior leaders, aligning people strategy with business goals
β’ Support workforce planning, organizational design, and growth initiatives
β’ Enable talent and capability scaling for client-driven delivery environments
Talent Management & Employee Lifecycle
β’ Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring plans for technology, delivery, and leadership roles
β’ Support onboarding, performance management, career development, and retention initiatives
β’ Guide leaders on succession planning and internal mobility
Employee Relations & Performance Management
β’ Act as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters
β’ Coach managers on performance management, feedback, and corrective actions
β’ Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices
HR Policies, Benefits & Administration
β’ Drive policy formulation, rollout, administration, and periodic review
β’ Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, renewals, and employee queries
β’ Partner with benefits vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth benefits delivery
β’ Ensure policies and benefits programs are compliant, competitive, and consistently applied
HR Operations & Compliance (IT Services Context)
β’ Ensure compliance with U.S. employment laws and internal HR policies
β’ Support HR processes for consulting workforce models (W2, contractors, global teams)
β’ Partner with HR operations teams to maintain accurate employee data and documentation
Offshore HR Coordination (Mandatory)
β’ Work closely with offshore HR teams (India and other global delivery centers) on day-to-day HR operations
β’ Ensure alignment on HR policies, processes, reporting, and employee lifecycle management
β’ Enable effective cross-time-zone collaboration and governance
β’ Support leaders managing distributed and offshore teams
Culture, Engagement & Employee Bonding
β’ Organize and manage employee engagement initiatives and change programs
β’ Plan and execute employee bonding activities such as get-togethers, team outings, offsites, dinners, and celebrations
β’ Drive initiatives that strengthen collaboration, morale, and organizational culture
Representation & Events
β’ Represent the organization at HR forums, industry events, campus engagements, and networking events
β’ Coordinate and support internal and external events aligned with employer branding and engagement objectives
β Required Qualifications
β’ 7β10 years of progressive HR experience
β’ Mandatory: Prior HR Business Partner experience in an IT Services / Technology Services organization
β’ Mandatory: Experience coordinating with offshore HR teams (shared services or in-country HR)
β’ Strong understanding of consulting and professional services delivery models
β’ Experience supporting senior leaders in fast-paced, client-facing environments
β’ Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices
β’ Hands-on experience in policy and benefits administration
β’ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
