Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, contribute to impactful projects, and gain valuable skills to build a successful career. This internship is a part-time, season-long commitment.
Who are we hiring?
The Kansas City Current are seeking an Intern, Graphic Design to produce graphics for KC Current, CPKC Stadium, Current Landing and other owned properties that might include, but are not limited to, HB Køge, KC Current II, and Teal Rising KC, as part of an in-house graphic design team.
What will you do?
- Create designs and layouts for owned KC Current, CPKC Stadium and Current Landing platforms, including social media, web or app graphics.
- Work within existing brand guidelines and templates to produce creative assets
- Create marketing materials or signage for all KC Current properties
- Create presentational materials for internal business units, which might include Corporate Partnerships, Ticket, Retail, Soccer Operations, or other.
- Ability to work the entire season is preferred
What do you need to succeed?
- Working experience with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop / Lightroom / Illustrator / Premiere / After Effects / InDesign
- Working familiarity with social media and designing for it: TikTok / X / Facebook / Instagram / YouTube
- Experience with communication or collaboration tools: Outlook / Teams
Special requirements of the job:
- The ability to drive to and from KC Current events and matches across Kansas City
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends, nights (event evenings & overnight operation shifts) and holidays.
- Ability to monitor company communications and respond to time-sensitive matters with senior executives.
- Ability to work outdoors continuously for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
