What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Revenue Accountant position at KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting?
KBW Financial Staffing is working with a services and distribution company in their search for a Senior Accountant to join the team. The company is very stable, a leader in their industry, continuously growing, offers advancement and a pleasant work environment. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office in the Merrimack/Nashua area of New Hampshire.
Be a key contributor to the month end close process, journal entries, account reconciliations, support the production of financial statements and be a go to for junior staff and operational accountant.
Take the lead on accounting associated with revenue, applying revenue properly based on contracts and service agreements. Accruals, journal entries and reporting on billing activities.
Support internal and external audits, support external reporting, strong GAAP accounting knowledge, participate in technical accounting, process improvements.
The qualified candidate will have excellent Excel skills, experience in a complex organization and the ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
Bachelor's in Accounting, MBA or CPA desired
Public accounting desired, not required
Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to work with folks at levels of the organization.
Three plus years of experience.
Excellent benefits, base salary $80-100k based on experience.
