Senior Staff Accountant

KBW Financial Staffing has partnered with a growing client in Brunswick, ME to identify a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. This position will play a key role in the month-end close process, as well as in journal entry preparation. After training the role is flexible to a hybrid schedule. Candidates must be in Maine to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Processing accounts payable and receivable
• Monitoring and preparing budgets and identifying variances
• Maintained fixed assets
  
  

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
  
  

Compensation: up to $75-85k/year, depending on experience
