- Develop and maintain standard costing for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods; perform periodic cost studies.
- Analyze variances (PPV, absorption, manufacturing) and provide gross margin fluctuation insights globally.
- Manage inventory controls, cycle counts, physical inventories, and excess/obsolescence reserves.
- Oversee scrap, obsolescence, and transaction error resolution across domestic and international sites.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls; support audits and reporting.
- Drive process improvements and automation in Oracle ERP to enhance efficiency.
- Mentor and develop a team of 2 cost accountants, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with operations and FP&A on productivity initiatives and financial insights.
- Experience: 7 years in manufacturing cost accounting; semiconductor or high-tech preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Technical Skills: Strong Oracle ERP experience required; advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Knowledge: Deep expertise in standard costing, inventory valuation, variances, and GAAP/SOX.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities to drive change.
- Mindset: High-energy, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Location: Local to Wilmington, MA for hybrid work (4 days/week onsite).
- Preferences: Experience with acquisitions, multi-site operations, or cost analytics tools.
