Senior Manager, Financial Reporting or Assistant Controller

A technology company is seeking a Senior Manager/Assistant Controller to join their team in Boston, MA. This position will oversee corporate accounting, general ledger, month-end close, technical accounting, revenue, and financial reporting.

$150K–$170K base bonus

This is a full-time, hybrid position with 3 days onsite per week in the Seaport.

Job Description

• Supervise the general ledger process, monthly close, and revenue recognition activities
• Oversee billing, collections, accounts payable, and employee expenses
• Manage two direct reports within the accounting function
• Oversee financial reporting, consolidations, and international reporting
• Lead technical accounting analysis and support financial reporting integration workstreams
• Support FP&A, budgeting, internal controls, and process improvements
  
  

Job Requirements

• Public accounting experience and/or CPA required
• Revenue recognition and ASC 606 experience required
• SaaS industry experience required
• Experience overseeing corporate accounting, GL, close, technical accounting, and reporting
• Management experience required
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and internal controls
