KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with a growing civil construction firm near Concord, NH is seeking a Senior Estimator with 5–8 years of experience estimating civil/sitework projects. This role will focus on preparing competitive bids for infrastructure and site development projects, including work with the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT).
Key Highlights
- Prepare quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid proposals for civil construction projects (sitework, roadways, utilities, drainage).
- Review plans, specs, and bid documents for state and municipal projects across New Hampshire.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and bid reviews with leadership.
- Maintain cost databases and historical bid data to support accurate estimating.
- Collaborate with project management and operations teams during project handoff.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of estimating experience in civil construction, sitework, or state funded projects.
- Experience bidding DOT or municipal infrastructure projects preferred.
- Ability to perform detailed takeoffs from civil plans and specifications.
- Experience with estimating software.
