This position will have responsibility for cost accounting, inventory analysis, fixed assets, and manufacturing reporting while working closely with Accounting, Operations, Purchasing, and other areas of the business.

Responsibilities
- Take ownership of standard costing, cost roll-ups, and manufacturing variance analysis.
- Manage fixed asset accounting including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
- Perform BOM cost roll-ups and research purchase price variances.
- Analyze inventory, production costs, gross margins, and other manufacturing activity.
- Partner with Operations, Purchasing, and other business leaders to understand cost drivers and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare monthly cost and inventory reporting and provide analysis to management.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting related to manufacturing costs and inventory.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Participate in process improvements, system enhancements, and special projects.
- Cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with standard costing, BOMs, inventory, and manufacturing variances.
- Fixed asset accounting experience.
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
- Ability to work across Accounting, Operations, Purchasing, and other areas of the organization.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
