KBW Financial Staffing has partnered with a services company in the Newbury, MA area to identify a qualified Senior Accountant to join their team. The company is small and privately held but has multiple entities and complex accounting. This is in-office but has some flexibility for bad weather or appointments, solid benefits, competitive pay plus bonus potential. $75-85k.
Lead the month end close process, produce financial statements, record accruals, intercompany transactions, complex account reconciliations and review work by AP/AR teams.
Participate in the budget process, provide reporting, analysis, and identify areas of cost savings in business operations.
Solid Excel and systems skills. Must be able to work independently without supervision and meet strict deadlines.
Bachelor's or Associates in Accounting or related, preferred.
This reports to a Controller, is a stable company, offers career growth and pleasant work environment.
