Manager of Financial Reporting

KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting is working with a publicly traded manufacturer in Maine with multiple entities in their search for a Manager of External Reporting. This role will own technical accounting areas, support consolidated financial reporting, and support the month end close process and acquisition activities. The opportunity is hybrid with good flexibility. They want someone who lives in the NH/Maine area who can get into the office.

• Support preparation of consolidated financial statements and own external filings, 10Ks and 10Qs.
• Lead technical accounting for key areas of the business and be a go to for improving processes and mitigating risk.
• Work with internal and external auditors and support SOX compliance efforts.
• Help out with the close, production of financial statements, fpa and internal reporting.
  
  

What They’re Looking For:

• 5–8 years of Big 4 and/or public company reporting/technical accounting experience.
• Experience with consolidation/reporting systems and SEC reporting exposure.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent systems skills, proactive, and deadline-driven.
