Rapidly growing SaaS / AI company in Boston is seeking a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to join their team. This role will be the right hand person for the Corporate Controller and be involved in various areas including month-end close, financial reporting, audit support, tax support, technical accounting, system implementations, and much more. This is a great opportunity for someone who is excited about being at a start-up and building from the ground up. We are targeting candidates who have a public accounting foundation and 5 years of overall experience. CPA/ MBA is highly preferred, but not required.

- Play a key role in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
- Balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
- Support technical accounting areas such as ASC 606, 842, and 350-40
- Assist with audit and tax support
- Work closely with the Controller on systems implementations and other projects
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of experience, ideally with a public accounting foundation
- Software/SaaS industry experience is a plus, but not required
- Must have strong communication skills and attention to detail
