SEC Reporting Consultant

Publicly traded pharmaceutical company is seeking a temporary SEC Reporting Consultant to add to their team. This role will involve preparing 10K's and 10Q's, working closely with Legal and Finance teams, and also supporting some technical accounting areas. We are looking for candidates with strong SEC reporting experience, ideally with a mix of both public accounting and corporate. Candidates local to Boston / Cambridge area are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SEC filings and disclosures accurately and on time
• Coordinate and assist with external audits
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations
• Support the development of quarterly and annual reports
• Assist with technical accounting research and documentation
• Maintain documentation for SOX controls and compliance
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors on reporting matters
• Support other related financial reporting projects as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Significant experience in SEC reporting and financial disclosures
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
