Purchasing Manager

A growing, highly respected aerospace manufacturing company is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead and support its Purchasing and Materials teams. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity vital to the efficient running and growth of the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage production schedules, inventory levels, material flow, and product demand.
• Lead and support Purchasing and Materials teams, including training and mentoring.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships.
• Partner with Production, Planning, and Quality teams to align supply chain activities with manufacturing requirements.
• Forecast supply needs using operational data and trends.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
• Monitor logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery.
• Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen supply chain performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, quality, and ethical standards.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and promote continuous improvement.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 5 years of relevant supply chain experience.
• Experience with ERP systems
• Prior management or team leadership experience.
  
  

Compensation:$100,00-125,000 plus benefits
