Procurement Manager

KBW Financial Staffing has teamed up with a $150 million, privately held distribution company that services commercial customers in their search for a Procurement Manager to take ownership of purchasing and logistics. This position will be a hands-on role and coordinate logistics, purchasing of equipment and parts and support operations to support the goals and business plan. This is a high profile role. Pay is competitive with comprehensive benefits. They are located in the Methuen, MA area.

• Manage and a small team, provide leadership by example and be a resource to all business operations.
• Supervise planning, logistics and consistently update the organizational plan
• Reporting and analysis on inventory, etc.
• Work with Marketing and Sales departments/managers on forecast analysis, trends, backorders and inventory levels
• Oversee international and domestic buying / planning process to ensure inventories meet planning and forecast needs.
• Work with new suppliers to plan and prepare purchasing strategies
• Material procurement, negotiations, contracts, purchase orders
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 6 years of Supply Chain / Purchasing Management experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel including experience with ERP systems
• Exceptional analytical skills
• International experience desired
  
  

Pay is up $110-130k based on experience.
