This role will manage a legacy portfolio of commercial assets while also supporting new development projects as they come online. Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly accounting activities including billing, collections, cash management, and accounts payable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial work paper packages for leadership
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis
- Support Development, Construction, Design, and Property Management teams with financial reporting and budgeting
- Prepare monthly development funding requisitions
- Prepare annual CAM and real estate tax reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly and year-end tax, cash, and GAAP reporting, including audit support
- Create and maintain reporting templates and financial analyses using Excel and accounting systems
- Support accounting system improvements, process automation, and internal control enhancements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred but not required)
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Commercial real estate, development, or property accounting experience strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- JD Edwards software experience a plus
