Financial Analyst

KBW is partnered with a client in the greater Portland, Maine are who is seeking a Financial Analyst to support key financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver insights, support decision-making, and drive financial performance for the highest performing segment of the organization.

This is a hybrid opportunity, requiring 3 days a week in the office. The compensation range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 DOE.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including variance analysis and reporting
• Assist in the development and maintenance of financial forecasts and annual budgets
• Build and enhance financial models to support strategic planning and business initiatives
• Analyze financial results and key performance indicators, providing actionable insights to leadership
• Partner with key stakeholders to track performance against budget and identify risks and opportunities
• Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 4 years of relevant experience as an FA or FP&A analyst.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
