Responsibilities For The Finance Manager Position
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to site leadership, providing insights to support operational and financial decisions
- Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key drivers and opportunities
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including identifying risks, trends, and performance improvement opportunities
- Support capital planning activities, including investment analysis, tracking, and spend oversight
- Evaluate operational performance metrics and drive initiatives to improve productivity and cost efficiency
- Validate and track cost savings initiatives, ensuring alignment with financial results
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and financial reporting standards
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation of more efficient financial and operational workflows
- Lead or support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 5 years of progressive finance experience, including prior leadership or business partnering responsibilities within manufacturing, life sciences, etc.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations-focused environments preferred
- Strong financial modeling and reporting skills
- Proven ability to partner with non-finance teams and influence decision-making
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly
