Corporate Controller

Responsibilities

KBW Financial has partnered with Boston area Biotech Company to identiy a Corporate Controller. This role will be a key member of the finance leadership team responsible for leading accounting and reporting while shaping their processes, systems and controls for expected growth. Additional details include:

• Manage the global accounting function (GL, consolidations, cost accounting, AP, payroll)
• Manage the close and reporting
• Oversee internal controls
• Partner with the CFO and FP&A leadership to support financial activities
• Implement systems and processes to support growth and commercial readiness
• Mange audits
• Manage all techncial accounting and GAAP matters
• Ensure best in class SOX framework development and public company reporting standards
• Serve as the point of contact with private equity sponsors on accounting and financial control matters
  
  

Requirements

• CPA and public accounting background required
• 10 years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience in Biotech or pharma
• GAAP and techncial accouinting expertise
• Experience in a PE backed growth company
• Management experience
• Commercial stage biotech company experience
• Experience system implementations
• Strong communication presence
  
  

Compensation: $200 - 250k Base Bonus Equity
