Controller

KBW has partnered with a growing organization to identify an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations and serve as a key financial partner to executive leadership. This person will oversee financial reporting, the month-end close, budgeting, cash flow, and internal controls while helping drive strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations, including the general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, and cash management.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis.
• Maintain GAAP compliance, strengthen internal controls, and coordinate annual audits.
• Develop financial reporting and provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
• Partner with department leaders to support business planning, profitability, and operational performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Progressive accounting leadership experience, including Controller or Assistant Controller responsibilities.
• Proven leadership, communication, and business partnering skills.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience preferred.
  
  

Compensation:$175-200,000 plus bonus and benefits
