Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly and year-end close process
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Oversee cost accounting, inventory and manufacturing-related accounting
- Manage cash flow and other treasury activities
- Partner with operations to analyze costs, margins and business performance
- Maintain appropriate accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Coordinate external audit and tax requirements
- Oversee and develop the accounting team
- Support accounting system and process improvements
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to company leadership
- Strong Controller or senior-level accounting experience
- Manufacturing accounting experience required
- Solid cost accounting and inventory experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Strong ERP and Excel skills
- Prior experience managing or developing accounting staff
- Ability to remain hands-on while also working effectively with senior leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
