KBW Financial has partnered with a well established organization based out of Middlesex County, MA that is actively looking to add a Controller to their team The Controller, will report into the Corporate Controller and assist with financial reporting, operational accounting, and technology/process optimization. The Controller will perform the following:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, promoting professional growth and a culture of continuous improvement
- Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accurate, timely, and consolidated financial reporting
- Design and implement scalable financial models to support recurring reporting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
- Collaborate across departments to analyze financial and non-financial data, providing insights to guide business strategy
- Drive enhancements to financial reporting processes, maintaining alignment with business priorities and internal controls
- Support complex accounting issues, including business transactions and updates to accounting standards
- Partner with teams to analyze and implement process changes for term and SaaS offerings
- Manage accounts payable operations, optimizing efficiency while upholding controls and mitigating risk
- Work with the Financial Systems Team to identify and implement workflow improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency
- Champion new software solutions and integrations to enhance reporting capabilities and data-driven decision-making
- Lead financial planning processes, aligning forecasts and budgets with organizational goals
- Develop dynamic financial models to assess the impact of strategic decisions on the company's financial outlook throughout the year
