Key Responsibilities
- Apply daily customer payments (lockbox, ACH, wire, credit card)
- Match payments to open invoices using remittance details
- Process intercompany transactions and billing adjustments
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies, including:
- Unapplied cash
- Short payments and deductions
- Duplicate or overpayments
- Reconcile bank activity and payment batches
- Partner with AR, Billing, and Operations teams to resolve issues
- Assist with month-end close related to cash applications
- Maintain accurate documentation to support audit requirements
- 2–3 years of cash applications, AR, billing, or related experience (internships considered for strong entry-level candidates)
- Experience working in an ERP system (training provided on internal tools)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactions
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet daily deadlines
- Experience in high-volume transaction environments
- Exposure to unapplied cash research and reconciliations
- Accounting or finance-related degree (or equivalent experience)
Salary : $23 - $25
