Responsibilities
- Support the Controller with day-to-day accounting operations and the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and other general ledger activity
- Assist with preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reporting
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and supporting schedules
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and other accounting functions as needed
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Coordinate and support year-end audit activities and preparation of audit schedules
- Help maintain and strengthen internal accounting controls and procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and overall efficiency
- Provide guidance and support to accounting team members and assist with workflow management
- Support the Controller and broader finance team with special projects and other financial analysis as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong general ledger and month-end close experience
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience preparing account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with an ERP/accounting system
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments
Salary : $115,000 - $1,350,000
