Responsibilities
- Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to tables swiftly and accurately, maintaining presentation standards.
- Clear and reset tables promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service and a clean environment for guests.
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and attending to guest needs with a friendly attitude.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing dishes and assisting in basic kitchen duties.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring overall tidiness.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest transactions when required.
- Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes properly and adhering to sanitation protocols at all times.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in service.
- Experience with bussing, food preparation, or kitchen operations is a plus.
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
