We are seeking a friendly and hardworking individual to join our team as a busser at the Essex Fells Country Club. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing customers with exceptional service and dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Clearing and cleaning tables promptly and efficiently
- Assisting servers in delivering food and beverages to customers
- Replenishing supplies such as utensils, napkins, and condiments
- Assisting with basic food preparation, such as slicing lemons or preparing bread baskets
- Taking dirty dishes to the kitchen
- Emptying and maintaining trash receptacles in the dining area
- Providing excellent customer service, including answering customer questions and addressing concerns
- Assisting in resetting tables after patrons leave
- Assisting in resetting dining rooms for private party and club events
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be a team player and work well with others in a collaborative environment
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required
