Job Title: Engineer (Battery Production Implementation)
Location: Liberty, NC (On-site) | Duration: 12 Months (Extension Possible)
Travel: 10–15% | Overtime: 25% (Including weekends/shutdowns)
Role Overview:
Support the production preparation and launch of EV battery manufacturing equipment. You will work within the Implementation Group to transition the facility from construction to high-volume mass production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Launch & Commissioning: Lead equipment procurement, installation planning, FAT/SAT, and pre-production trials.
- Site Coordination: Collaborate with General Contractors and Vendors to manage punchlists and meet project milestones.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and manage countermeasures.
- Operations Support: Maintain detailed project schedules, manage budgets (>$5M), and oversee mass-production handover.
- Clean Room: Adhere to advanced cleanliness protocols required for battery manufacturing environments.
Must-Haves:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience: 3–10 years in capital project execution (strategy through mass production).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and reading building/process drawings.
- Project Management: Experience managing large-scale capital investments and detailed installation schedules.
Salary : $60 - $70
