About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on, driven Customer Experience & Operations Supervisor who takes initiative and excels in an environment where they can make things happen. This role oversees customer service, supports sales operations, manages logistics, and directs warehouse activities at our South Carolina location, ensuring efficient operations, strong customer satisfaction, and seamless coordination across sales, service, logistics, and warehouse teams.

The team on-site will be small at the start, so this position combines hands-on operational work with light supervisory responsibilities, with the opportunity to grow into a broader leadership role as the operation expands. The role offers a hybrid schedule, with several days per week available to work from home once onboarding and training are complete.


What You Will Do

Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and safety compliance.

• Work directly with customers to confirm orders, routing details, and delivery expectations to proactively prevent issues and ensure a smooth experience.

• Lead the customer service function and maintain high response and resolution standards.

• Support sales operations by overseeing order flow, communicating delivery timelines, and coordinating fulfillment needs.

• Design and maintain processes that minimize routing errors, shipment delays, and order mix-ups.

• Manage a small on-site team with light supervisory duties initially, expanding as staffing increases.

• Perform regular inventory audits and implement process improvements to reduce discrepancies.

• Negotiate transport and freight quotes to secure cost-effective and reliable logistics solutions.

• Coordinate shipments with carriers and logistics partners, ensuring accurate routing, correct documentation, and on-time, cost-effective deliveries.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability across sales support, customer service, and warehouse operations.

• Provide operational insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

• Balance on-site warehouse oversight with remote work focused on customer support, coordination, planning, and process management.

• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the needs of the business.


What We Are Looking For

5 years of experience in sales support, customer service, warehouse & logistics operations, or similar roles.

• Strong customer service capabilities, with a focus on proactive communication, expectation setting, and issue prevention.

• Hands-on operational mindset with the ability to balance supervisory duties and day-to-day warehouse involvement.

• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

• Proven ability to design or follow processes that ensure accurate routing and on-time deliveries.

• Understanding of warehouse processes, logistics coordination, and inventory management.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment with changing needs.

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, outdoor products, or sporting goods is an asset (not required).

• Ability to work effectively both on-site and remotely.
