Bachelor’s degree (preferred); College hours, high school diploma or GED (required)
Related work experience
Advanced skills in the use of BMCS system programming
Advanced skills in using facility management and scheduling systems
Strong organizational skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to consistently meet deadlines and handle frequent interruptions
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, Sheets and Forms
Ability to think quickly and utilize strong problem-solving skills
Primary Purpose:
The Scheduling Specialist will coordinate all HVAC and Lighting Schedules for all district facilities. Direct responsibility for reviewing AC settings for all reservations submitted by campuses and support facilities, including rental reservations. Assist district personnel as needed via the AirLightScheduling email and telephone line. Irregular work hours and seasonal overtime required.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building and maintaining individual air/heat and lighting schedules for all district facilities.
- Responsible for adjusting air and light settings based on sunrise/sunset changes and change of seasons.
- Coordinate with all team members and BMCS team to assist in meeting the district’s utility conservation goals.
- Coordinate campus schedules with contractors during system upgrades.
- Provide excellent customer service to district personnel through the monitoring of the Air Light Scheduling Team email and phone line.
- Review, approve and activate campus schedules submitted in the district’s scheduling software.
- Ensure schedules are within district guidelines for before and after school events.
- Assist Controls Operator and HVAC Technicians with finding solutions to repetitive issues.
- Assist HVAC team with training and support on all BAS systems.
- Conduct oneself in a professional, ethical and responsible manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
