Katten, a Global Am Law 100 law firm, seeks a highly qualified Associate to join its premier Private Wealth Department, working from its Los Angeles-Century City office.
2 years of experience in high net-worth estate planning within a nationally or regionally recognized Trusts & Estates practice is preferred. Candidates with a background in transactional or tax work who are interested in transitioning to a Private Wealth practice may also be considered. Responsibilities include advising high-net-worth individuals and family office structures, trust and estate planning administration, handling probate filings, and preparing and submitting estate and gift tax returns, along with related matters. Experience with charitable planning is a plus. All candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong interpersonal skills, and a client-team focused work ethic. Qualified candidates should attach a copy of their resume and law school transcript with their application.
The estimated salary range for this role is $225,000 - $420,000. Salary determinations are based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to class and graduation year, job history, and experience within the desired practice area of the selected candidate.
