What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2026 1L/2027 2L Summer Associate (New York) position at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP?
Katten's New York office is accepting applications from law students in the graduating class of 2028 who are interested in both a 1L (Summer 2026) and a 2L (Summer 2027) position. Full participation in both programs is required. Students must attend an ABA-accredited law school in the United States in order to be eligible.
We seek candidates who have a demonstrated record of outstanding academic achievement, strong writing and analytical skills, relevant work experience, and participation in law school/student organizations and opportunities.
Compensation for this position is based off of an annualized salary of $225,000 per year for the 10 week program. Candidates who accept an offer for their 1L and 2L summers will be eligible to receive a scholarship in the total amount of $12,500.
