Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role requires a strong knowledge of food and beverage service, excellent time management skills, and proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. The bartender will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring all food safety and alcohol regulations are followed.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring a memorable experience.
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy hours, demonstrating strong time management skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation.
- Assist in food service when required, including serving food at banquets or catering events.
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and adhere to alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during events such as weddings, corporate functions, or nightclub nights.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, particularly in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately; retail math experience is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
- Prior experience in brewing or the food industry is advantageous but not required.
