Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner
- Mix drinks and prepare beverages according to standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Manage cash handling and processing payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring their needs are met
- Assist with setup and cleanup for events such as banquets or catering functions
- Uphold all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts, including nightclubs or special events
Skills
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
- Previous experience in fine dining, nightclubs, banquet service, or food industry settings preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and responsible alcohol service
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills or tips accurately
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or busy restaurants
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Familiarity with catering services and food safety standards is a plus
