Karis Care Services is seeking a highly organized, people-centered, and proactive Office Coordinator to serve as the direct support partner to our Operating Partner in our Daleville, VA office.
Together, this team leads all local operations—serving clients, supporting caregivers, and growing the business in the community.
This role is the operational and cultural anchor of the office—ensuring that daily details are executed with excellence, that people feel welcomed and cared for, and that the Operating Partner is freed up to lead, grow, and build relationships externally.

Key Responsibilities
Office Experience & Hospitality
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, families, caregivers, and visitors
- Create a warm, welcoming, and professional office environment
- Develop and maintain a caregiver-friendly hospitality experience
- Ensure the office reflects the heart and standards of Karis in every detail
Operating Partner Support
- Provide direct, day-to-day support to the Operating Partner
- Anticipate needs and step in wherever needed
- Prepare materials, supplies, and logistics for marketing visits and community presentations
Scheduling & Staffing Support
- Manage scheduling software and daily care schedules
- Assist with staffing coordination and fill-in coverage when needed
- Help maintain consistency and reliability for clients and caregivers
Client & Caregiver Engagement
- Welcome prospective clients and families with professionalism and compassion
- Greet and assist caregiver applicants, including facilitating initial interactions
- Serve as a steady, reassuring presence for both clients and caregivers
Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution
- Address concerns between clients and caregivers with professionalism and empathy
- De-escalate situations and work toward positive, timely resolutions
- Use sound judgment in sensitive situations
Administrative & Organizational Excellence
- Maintain organized records, files, and documentation
- Manage office supplies, printed materials, and marketing inventory
- Support onboarding, paperwork, and general office workflows
- Utilize Microsoft Office effectively

In the early stages, this office may be quiet at times as we continue building our presence in the community. During those times, you will take initiative to stay organized, prepared, and ahead while helping build systems and a strong operational foundation.

Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate degree or higher preferred
- 2 years in an office or customer-facing role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Salary Range: $45,000-$55,000
