Part-Time Bookkeeper
We are looking to bring on a part-time bookkeeper to support the entrepreneurial owner of Kari Whitman Interiors, a luxury interior design firm with offices located in Boulder, CO and Los Angeles, CA.
This role will NOT use QuickBooks so expertise in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is essential. Please also note that we do not plan to change over to QuickBooks in the near future.
We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper who has worked in active environments and with successful entrepreneurs. This position is fully in-office (we are unable to offer remote or hybrid schedules) and located in Boulder, CO. We anticipate that this role will require 2.5-3 full days in the office.
Responsibilities of part-time bookkeeper:
- Extensive reconciliation
- Overseeing, tracking and managing accounting excel spreadsheets for multiple clients and projects
- Ensuring billing and invoicing is accurate and timely
- Overseeing office financials including monitoring expenses, purchases, and credit cards
- Working out of Google Drive and Microsoft Excel regularly
- Other responsibilities as needed
Requirements of bookkeeper:
- Must be extremely competent with Google Drive, Gmail, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Excel
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have minimum 5 years of experience as a bookkeeper
- Must feel comfortable and confident in working and handling tasks independently with little to no supervision
- Must own a laptop
- Must be comfortable working with dogs in the office
- Must have a certificate or license in bookkeeping or closely related field
Hours for bookkeeper:
- Our office is open 10am-7pm, M-F.
- This role will require 2.5-3 full days of work in office during business hours
- This is an in-office position located in Boulder, CO
Compensation of bookkeeper:
- $30-40/hr depending on experience
