Kappa Executive Search are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor for a leading PQS firm in Adelaide.

About the Role: The successful applicants will possess a minimum of 1 - 2 years’ local experience in a Quantity Surveying role and have the ability to use Cost X. You will be a team player, have effective organisational and communication skills, the ability to meet deadlines, analytical skills, and attention to detail. Full Australian working rights are required to be eligible for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team: Work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality quantity surveying services.
• Cost Management: Manage cost planning, cost estimation, and cost management for various projects.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports and tender documentation.
• Feasibility Studies: Conduct financial feasibility studies and value engineering.
• Expert Advice: Provide expert advice on contractual matters and procurement strategies.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or a related field.

Experience:

• Experience: 1 - 2 years of experience in the Consultancy environment.
• Proven experience in providing a full range of pre-contract QS services
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CostX and Excel ideally
• Communication: High-level verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional client-facing and interpersonal skills.
