Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluates the impact of emerging technology and business trends.
- Drives innovation by prioritizing opportunities based on significant business impact.
- Delivers impactful roadmaps that defineify strategy and improve integration between infrastructure, applications, data and processes.
- Lead aenterprise critical innovation projects that require extensive knowledge of advanced techniques in multiple technical disciplines.
- Creates and maintains high complexity logical and physical data and/or system models.
- Transforms business requirements into technical architecture requirements, and designs architectures which are scalable, robust, and manageable.
- Provides technical guidance or business process expertise, technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members.
- Determines the technology system architecture and functional design needed to support and meet company business goals.
- Evaluatesing existing IT systems for exposure or weaknesses that could compromise performance, security, or efficiency.
- Leads the Technical Review Board and facilitates development of standards, information technology vision, and make recommendations on technology decisions.
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering or Physical Science
- 9 or more years of relevant experience while demonstrating an increasing progression of responsibilities including demonstrated work in enterprise architecture, and team leadership
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to work on-site as directed by management and as determined by the needs of the business
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Architecture Enterprise.
- Possess strong project management, strategic planning, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to determine and influence technology and business strategy.
- Expertise in multiple technology environments and in-depth understanding of Architecture Enterprise, business planning and strategy requirements.
- Ability to work under administrative direction with considerable latitude for un-reviewed independent action or decisions.
