What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer position at Kani Solutions Inc?
Required Skills:
MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in electro-mechanical or defense/aerospace systems
- Strong understanding of NPI processes and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, PCBA schematics, and BOMs
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and manufacturing systems (e.g., PDM, Autodesk Vault, SW Composer)
- Strong understanding of electro-mechanical assembly processes
- Experience working with suppliers and contract manufacturers
- Experience with various manufacturing processes like CNC, Injection Molding, Sheet Metal, 3D printing and Composites
- Familiarity with ERP and PLM systems.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of IPC standards and industry best practices for electronics manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement training.
