Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician with electrical mechanic expertise to handle repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems. Ideal candidates are local to Brooklyn to ensure quick response times and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and component replacements.
• Conduct routine maintenance to optimize system efficiency and prevent breakdowns.
• Respond to service calls, including emergencies (24/7 availability a plus).
• Install new HVAC units and appliances as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
• Document work performed and recommend upgrades to clients.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or Electrical Mechanic (2 years preferred).
• EPA certification (Universal preferred) and knowledge of HVAC/R systems.
• Strong electrical skills, including reading schematics and using diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
• Union experience or specializations (e.g., commercial refrigeration) is a bonus.
