We're partnering with a well-established industrial manufacturer seeking a Technical Sales Representative to manage and grow an established Kansas City and surrounding Midwest territory. This is an opportunity to step into an existing customer base while continuing to expand business across a variety of manufacturing environments.
In this role, you'll work directly with engineers, operations leaders, and production teams to identify needs, recommend solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and drive long-term customer growth.
What You'll Do
- Manage and grow an established Midwest territory
- Develop existing accounts while identifying new opportunities
- Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and training
- Serve as a trusted technical resource throughout the sales process
- Manage pipeline and customer activity through CRM
- Prepare proposals and support projects from concept to close
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of technical, industrial, or manufacturing sales experience
- Experience calling on manufacturing, engineering, or production environments
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Comfortable discussing technical products, drawings, or specifications
- Self-motivated and capable of managing a territory independently
- Bachelor's degree preferred
