A well-capitalized and highly respected insurance organization is building out a significant Property & Casualty reinsurance operation and adding a key accounting leader to support that expansion.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a business early enough to help shape how things are built — reporting structure, reserving analysis, accounting processes, controls, operational workflow, and executive reporting.
The role has flexibility around level and can accommodate either:
• A strong Senior Manager ready for broader leadership exposure or
• An experienced Director-level professional who wants visible impact inside a growing platform
The environment is collaborative, technically sophisticated, and highly visible to senior leadership. The work goes well beyond close cycles and reporting. This person will help build infrastructure around a growing P&C reinsurance business with substantial long-term investment behind it.
What fits well:
• CPA required
• P&C insurance or reinsurance accounting experience
• Strong GAAP, STAT, and SEC reporting knowledge
• Background involving reserving analysis, reinsurance accounting, audits, or insurance reporting
• Public accounting experience supporting insurance clients is highly valued
